Terra Matters is committed to respecting the privacy of users of the site, particularly in the processing of their personal data.

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, information may be collected and is recorded in a computerised file managed by Terra Matters at 14 rue Erasme L-1468 Luxembourg. This processing is based on the following purpose(s): sending communications of a gastronomic nature in the broadest sense as well as on the services and new products offered by Terra Matters in these various fields. This data will be kept for as long as the user's registration is active. Should the user unsubscribe, Terra Matters undertakes to delete the data in its possession.

By accessing the Terra Matters website, and in particular by using the Contact, Book or Phone buttons, the user gives their clear and unequivocal consent to the processing of their personal data by Terra Matters. Users are informed that they have the right to withdraw their consent. If this right is exercised, the user's personal data will no longer be processed.

Users of the site are informed that they have various rights under the aforementioned European regulation: the right to access their personal data, the right to rectify, delete and object to their personal data, and the right to data portability. Terra Matters reserves the right to monitor and review information relating to messages, such as content, origin or destination, if Terra Matters has reasonable grounds to believe that some or all of the communications relate to illegal or unlawful activities, or has been directed to do so by the relevant authorities. Unless the control is carried out at the request of the competent authorities, the control of Terra Matters may only relate to messages of a public or non-confidential nature, i.e. information found on a web page, messages found in discussion forums or computer mailings, without this list being limitative.

Terra Matters is committed to:

  2. only process data that correlate with the purpose(s) identified;
  3. provide personal data as soon as possible at the express request of the user;
  4. guarantee the confidentiality of the data collected;

Terra Matters cannot be held responsible for security breaches beyond its control.
